NBA DFS: Fantasy NBA Projections for DraftKings, FanDuel, and Yahoo! (FREE)

The NBA DFS projection model was created with input from and is maintained by a team of Awesemo contributors led by Josh Engleman and including Adam “Shipmymoney” Scherer, Dave “Loughy” Loughran, Tom “tomjk321” Kennedy and Eddie “l800Eddie” Lai.

Pace: Projected possessions for the game.
Vegas: Implied team total based on Pinnacle’s line.
MP: Projected minutes
USG: Projected usage rate
Proj: Fantasy point projection for DK/FD
SD: Projected standard deviation of NBA fantasy points
/$1K: (Proj / Salary) * 1000 – Also known as “value”
^: The difference between ceiling projection and the player’s target score based on their salary. Order matters here.

*There will be slight differences in the site specific  NBA projections compared to the total you would get by using the given stat line. It should generally be minor, but I do add defensive adjustments and player tweaks to the player’s output itself and not to the components.

Do you use the gpp projections exclusively for tournaments? Or a mix?

“^: The difference between my ceiling projection and the player’s target score based on their salary. Order matters here.” Can you elaborate further here?

can you explain why you have the players listed the way you do? Does your list go from best play (in your opinion) to least?

    Thanks,

You can’t actually use the projections until a slate starts. They are now updated.
