Yahoo NFL Picks: Week 11 Sunday Night Football | Giants at Buccaneers Tonight

Tonight the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hosting the New York Giants in the featured Monday Night Football matchup, and Yahoo Fantasy is offering NFL DFS single-game contests. The general concept of creating a team remains the same, but this is a one-game player pool. The twist is that any position player can be rostered, and one is designated to receive a 1.5x multiplier on their Yahoo points. Using Awesemo’s expert NFL projections and rankings, these are the top Yahoo NFL picks for the Week 11 Monday Night Football game tonight.

Yahoo NFL Picks: Week 11 Monday Night Football

Top SUPERSTAR Options

The SUPERSTAR position will get a 1.5x multiplier on their Yahoo points in the single-game format. Awesemo’s NFL DFS optimizer creates daily fantasy football cheat sheets. Check out who is popping in the Yahoo NFL DFS cheat sheet for the Week 11 Sunday Night Football game.

Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $37

With the SUPERSTAR multiplier, Tom Brady has 10 more projected Yahoo points than any player besides Daniel Jones. Currently he leads the league in touchdown passes with 27 and yards with 318.9 per game. This is an above-average matchup, as the Giants pass rush should be no match for the excellent Tampa Bay offensive line. Brady has a least four touchdowns in five of his nine outings. While bad outings will happen, as was the case last week in Washington and in Week 4 in his return to New England, the only thing that could keep Brady from the catbird’s seat would be a skill player scoring multiple touchdowns.

Brady is one of the best options for SUPERSTAR on Yahoo, but Matt Savoca has an even more in-depth look at Brady’s outlook tonight from a DraftKings and FanDuel standpoint in his Week 11 Monday Night Football NFL DFS Showdown Game Breakdown.

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $29

In the half-PPR scoring format on Yahoo, touchdowns are more valuable that receptions. This gives Mike Evans a slight advantage over his counterpart Chris Godwin ($24), though the $5 discount keeps Godwin firmly in play. Evans has five touchdowns over his last three games and seven in his last five, and he has nine total on the season. Even in his three multi-touchdown performances, Evans only surpassed Brady once from a fantasy perspective.

Daniel Jones, New York Giants – $26

While he may be lacking as a real-life quarterback, Daniel Jones is just fine for fantasy purposes. Though it does not happen often, Jones has rushing upside and can break off 15-yard runs if the defense loses containment. Coming out of the bye week he should have all of his receivers at full health, with the exception of Sterling Shepard, who has already been ruled out. This is a boom-or-bust play, as Jones has only four games with multiple touchdowns, and he has thrown for 270 yards just once. Getting Saquon Barkley back at least gives defenses someone else to worry about.

Yahoo NFL Core Picks

Leonard Fournette, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $23

This is a nice matchup for Leonard Fournette, who has wrestled away all of the running back opportunities from Ronald Jones ($10). In five of his last six games he has 13-plus Yahoo points, and he is even getting more targets than Giovani Bernard. While there is no salary discount, the spending is for the safety of his steady production and the potential to flirt with 20 fantasy points in this matchup.

Fournette was showing up well in Awesemo’s NFL DFS lineup optimizer today. Check out the DraftKings NFL cheat sheet, FanDuel NFL cheat sheet and Yahoo NFL cheat sheet for more showdown lineup help tonight.

Kadarius Toney, New York Giants – $16

Rookie Kadarius Toney has been hampered by injuries, though he should be good to go after the bye week. Though he has and only two games with double-digit fantasy points, he has dynamic playmaking ability, and that makes him an intriguing tournament option. There has not been much consistency with the New York pass catchers, as nearly every wideout has missed multiple games this year. Kenny Golladay ($15) looks to be missing Matthew Stafford, and his injuries have contributed to a slow learning curve of the Giants offense as well as familiarity with Jones. This opens the door for Toney, who should benefit from the return of Barkley, giving the running game a chance to set up the pass.

Yahoo NFL Value Picks

Tampa Bay Bargain Pass Catchers

There is a good chance that Scotty Miller will return after missing over a month, and while he will cut into the targets earmarked for Tyler Johnson, both are in play. If Miller is out, then Johnson is one of the best punt options in the player pool. Rob Gronkowski ($21) has appeared in only one game in the last month and a half, and he was on the field for just six snaps. It seems silly for Tampa Bay to risk him to further injury since they will need him to defend their Super Bowl title in the playoffs. This should keep Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard in play at the Yahoo minimum salary. Jaelon Darden is the last of the $10 ballers, and he has taken over the kick return duties from Jaydon Mickens. It is likely that he will also see a few snaps as a receiver, though they will be curtailed if Millers is active.

Final Thoughts

This should be a fun one tonight, as Brady keeps all of his receiving options live for touchdowns; his 27 touchdowns have gone to eight different players. While the Giants are only projected for two touchdowns, it could come from any of a half-dozen sources, and landing on the right one will make those lineups soar up the leaderboards.
