Bucks vs. Hawks NBA Betting Preview: Picks & Odds

Hawks vs. Bucks Game Info

Milwaukee Bucks (46-26, 20-16 Away) vs. Atlanta Hawks (46-26, 25-11 Home)
Date: Tuesday, June 29, 2021
Time: 8:30 pm EST
Venue: State Farm Arena – Atlanta, Ga.
Coverage: TNT

It was a slow start for the Bucks in Game 3. They battled from behind in the first half but were able to tie the back up at the break. Milwaukee faced a similar resistance in the third quarter but luckily were taken home by Khris Middleton in the fourth. He scored 20 points in that quarter alone, leading to a 38-point performance. When Middleton is on, the Bucks are nearly unstoppable. However, not even Middleton can guess when he is going to have a good game, making any NBA betting props for him tough to have any confidence in.

For the Hawks, injuries continue to be a concern. The new big one is with Young, who suffered a bone bruise in his right foot last game. He is questionable to play today, though it would be somewhat surprising to not see him out there, as he returned to Game 3. After the injury to Bogdan Bogdanovic, even more of the offensive load had been put on Young’s shoulders. With him limited, it will be tough for Atlanta to show the offensive firepower needed to win another game. Will Atlanta finally unleash Lou Williams? It certainly feels like the opportunity is screaming in their face tonight.

Bucks vs. Hawks NBA Betting Picks + Prediction

It is tough to imagine the Hawks having enough offense to win this game. Even if they do allow Williams to have a larger role, can he do it for four quarters? It could be a similar game flow to Game 3, but the Bucks’ weapons will eventually separate Milwaukee from Atlanta in this game, making them the better pick tonight.

Prediction: Bucks -6.5 (BetMGM)
