Marquez Callaway - Week 14 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway is a deep-league fantasy option in Week 14. The 23-year-old has mustered much of nothing weekly, posting 37 yards or below for the past seven games. This comes with the WR not having strong competition for targets either. Nevertheless, with Deonte Harris suspended for the next three games, Callaway has a chance to soak in even more targets and produce well. Thus, he's worth considering as a flex play in deeper leagues in a matchup against the Jets this week.

Marquez Callaway - Week 13 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway is a risky option in Week 13 against Dallas. The WR has posted 37 yards or less in the last six contests despite seeing four or more targets in all of those games. The 23-year-old has not been taking advantage of his targets and has been struggling to produce despite not much competition for targets. Though the Cowboys are a favorable matchup for fantasy wideouts, it will be hard to trust Callaway given his recent production woes.

Marquez Callaway Accumulates 24 Yards

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway mustered two receptions for 24 yards on four targets in Thursday's loss to Buffalo. Callaway has been disappointing all season and now he hasn't posted more than 37 yards in any of the last six contests. The WR is simply too inconsistent to trust in fantasy given he can't make the most out of his targets. Callaway is well off the fantasy radar at this point.

Nov 25th · 02:54 AM
Marquez Callaway - Week 12 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway shouldn't be in starting lineups against Buffalo in Week 12. The WR hasn't posted more than 37 yards in any of the past five games and has generally posted underwhelming production all season. Buffalo allows the fewest fantasy points to WRs, so it's best to look elsewhere for flex options.

Marquez Callaway Hauls In Touchdown Against Eagles

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway finished with a single reception for 26 yards and a score on four targets in Sunday's loss to Philadelphia. The WR now does have a touchdown in the past three games but he's posted no more than 37 yards in a contest in the last five games. In general, Callaway hasn't been productive this season and it will be hard to trust him going forward given his numbers. If anything, the only fantasy value the player would have comes from chasing touchdowns but that's a risky thing to rely on.

Marquez Callaway - Week 11 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway is only a flex option, at best, against the Eagles in Week 11. Callaway has struggled in the past four contests, posting no more than 37 yards in any game. In general, the WR hasn't produced big numbers at all this season with the exception of a couple of weeks. His production hasn't been good enough to warrant a roster spot in standard-sized leagues, but in deeper leagues he might be worth flex consideration as a boom/bust option.

Marquez Callaway Scores Touchdown Against Titans

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway posted two receptions for 37 yards and a score on four targets in Sunday's loss to Tennessee. Callaway now has a touchdown in the last two games but his production leaves much to be desired. The WR has 37 yards or less in the last four games despite seeing at least four targets in all those games. Until he produces more fantasy-worthy numbers, Callaway should not be a starting option.

Nov 13th · 07:53 PM
Marquez Callaway - Week 10 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway could have decent flex value in Week 10 against the Titans. Callaway has been inconsistent for fantasy purposes, though he has seen at least five targets in each of his last four games, hauling in one touchdown reception in two of those games. Tennessee has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, meaning that Callaway could have some appeal as an upside WR4. It's worth noting that his floor will be lower with Trevor Siemian at quarterback.

Nov 8th · 01:38 AM
Marquez Callaway Hauls In Touchdown Against Atlanta

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway recorded three receptions for 25 yards and a score on six targets in Sunday's loss to Atlanta. Callaway hasn't been consistent at all this season and he's posted over 70 yards twice. In the last three games, the WR hasn't posted more than 32 yards and he's not a viable fantasy starter given his inconsistency and generally low weekly production.

Nov 4th · 01:38 AM
Marquez Callaway - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway is nothing more than a flex play in Week 9 against the Falcons. The 23-year-old has been sporadic this season, posting a couple of decent games in the middle of mostly underwhelming performances. He's posted no more than 32 yards in the last two games. Callaway will remain a top receiver on the Saints with Michael Thomas (ankle) out the rest of the season, but he hasn't proved much up to this point. On top of that, the Saints have a QB dilemma, so it's best to avoid Callaway in fantasy.

Nov 1st · 01:58 AM
Marquez Callaway Posts Just 30 Yards

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway caught three of five targets for 30 yards in a win over the Buccaneers in Week 8 on Sunday. Callaway's five targets were the third-most on the team, though he failed to do much of anything with them, totaling most of his production on one 16-yard catch. The 23-year-old had an opportunity against a beatable Tampa Bay secondary, but his outlook certainly wasn't helped by the injury to quarterback Jameis Winston (knee). Callaway will be an even riskier start without Winston under center.

Oct 29th · 09:52 PM
Marquez Callaway - Week 8 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway could bounce back in Week 8 against Tampa Bay. Callaway racked up two games with 70-plus receiving yards but disappointed against the Seahawks last week, as he totaled just 32 yards. Still, the 23-year-old is trending in the right direction, as he has seen 15 combined targets over the last two weeks, the most in any two-game stretch this year. Callaway has a chance to rack up receptions against a Buccaneers defense that has allowed 98 of them to wideouts, the sixth-most in the league. He is an upside flex option this week.

Oct 26th · 03:32 AM
Marquez Callaway Manages 32 Yards

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway managed three receptions for 32 yards on seven targets in Monday's win over Seattle. Callaway came up short compared to the previous two games he played where he had at least 74 yards. Nevertheless, the receiver has been far from consistent this season. The return of Tre'Quan Smith (hamstring) and the potential return of Michael Thomas (ankle) soon means Callaway isn't fantasy-relevant going forward.

Oct 21st · 02:08 AM
Marquez Callaway - Week 7 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway is a flex option at best in Week 7 against the Seahawks. The 23-year-old posted his best numbers of the season in Week 5, four receptions for 85 yards and two scores on eight targets. With Michael Thomas (ankle) set to return soon and Tre'Quan Smith (hamstring) possibly returning on Monday for the Week 7 contest, Callaway may not be fantasy-relevant in just a few weeks. However, for Week 7, the WR remains in the flex tier as the Seahawks allow the 10th-most fantasy points to wideouts, and Smith may be eased into action if active.

Oct 11th · 12:40 AM
Marquez Callaway Hauls In Two Touchdowns

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway finished with four receptions for 85 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 5 win over Washington. Callaway posted his best numbers of the season against Washington and now has at least 74 yards in the past two games after starting the season slowly. While this performance was encouraging, it's worth noting the Saints' offense can be streaky and may not put up high numbers each week. In addition, the potential returns of Michael Thomas and Tre'Quan Smith very soon could push Callaway down the depth chart. For now, just monitor Callaway as he hasn't shown consistency and his role may be subject to change.

Oct 9th · 12:56 AM
Marquez Callaway - Week 5 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway is not a strong play in Week 5 against Washington. Though Callaway posted his best totals of the season last week (2/74/0), the receiver simply hasn't been consistent enough to be a weekly fantasy starter. The 23-year-old only mustered 22 total yards in Weeks 1-2 combined. With Jameis Winston under center, the Saints do not have a pass-happy offense, meaning Callaway may not see as many chances to make plays either. There are better options to start this week.

Oct 3rd · 10:47 PM
Marquez Callaway Totals 74 Receiving Yards In Losing Effort

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway caught two passes for 74 yards in Sunday's loss to the Giants. Most of Callaway's production through the air came on one pass, a 58-yarder from Jameis Winston, which led to a touchdown for New Orleans. Ironically enough, the 23-year-old saw just two targets but produced his highest total of receiving yards this year. Callaway won't have much fantasy upside with the Saints' run-heavy approach, though he could find success against a Washington Football Team secondary that has posted the fifth-worst pass DVOA mark on defense so far.

Sep 29th · 07:00 PM
Marquez Callaway A Low-End Flex Against Giants

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway will look to build off of his best performance of the season in Week 4 against the Giants. Callaway's target numbers have increased each week, culminating in a 4-41-1 line in Week 3 against the Patriots. The 23-year-old has been the most targeted wideout in the Saints' offense, though that hasn't translated to much upside, given New Orleans' run-heavy approach this year. Callaway will take on a Giants defense that has allowed the seventh-most receptions to opposing receivers. He shouldn't be started over options with upside, though he should be able to offer a decent floor in Week 4.

Sep 26th · 10:09 PM
Marquez Callaway Hauls In Touchdown

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway paced the team with four receptions for 41 yards and a score on five targets in Sunday's victory over the Patriots. Callaway shined in the preseason and started off the first two games with only three receptions for 22 yards on six targets total. The Saints' receiving corps has so far had no standouts this season and Callaway will have to prove himself more before he can be counted on in fantasy. Leave him on waivers until he shows consistency with his numbers.

Sep 24th · 03:43 PM
Marquez Callaway Should Remain Benched In Week 3

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway should remain well off your starting radar in Week 3. The WR thrived in the preseason with Jameis Winston but has failed to translate that success to the regular season as he has managed three receptions for 22 yards on six targets in two games. The Saints' passing attack has not proved to be potent through two weeks. On top of that, the Patriots are quite tough against fantasy WRs, so Callaway shouldn't be in fantasy lineups.

Sep 19th · 10:08 PM
Marquez Callaway Held To Just Two Receptions In Loss

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway caught two of four targets for eight receiving yards in a Week 2 loss to Carolina. The Saints offense as a whole failed to bring their best effort, though Callaway has now disappointed for two straight weeks after putting together a strong preseason. If there was any positive to take from the performance, it's that the 23-year-old finished second on the team in targets behind Alvin Kamara- suggesting that he could perhaps emerge as the second option in the passing game at some point. Fantasy managers certainly can't afford to have him in lineups against a tough Patriots defense in Week 3, so it's best to take the wait-and-see approach with Callaway.

Sep 16th · 08:38 PM
Marquez Callaway Could Bounce Back In Week 2

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway had a rough Week 1 performance but could be in a position to bounce back against the Panthers. Carolina's defense surrendered seven targets, five receptions, 97 yards, and two scores to Jets' number-one wideout Corey Davis, which bodes well for Callaway, who displayed a nice rapport with Jameis Winston as his top target during the preseason. The 23-year-old excelled in two games against the Panthers last year, as he played 73 percent of the snaps while hauling in 11 of 14 targets for 126 receiving yards in two games played. In what figures to be more of a neutral game script, Callaway is worth turning back to as a flex option in Week 2.

Sep 13th · 02:04 AM
Marquez Callaway Manages 14 Yards

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway mustered one reception for 14 yards on two targets in Sunday's huge win over Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Despite showing great chemistry with Jameis Winston in the preseason and the QB tossing five touchdowns in Sunday's game, Callaway missed out on all the action and put up a dud in his first game as the team's WR1. Going forward, Callaway should remain the WR1 for now while Michael Thomas (ankle) is out, but it will be hard to trust him in fantasy if he cannot be consistent. The WR at best should be nothing more than a bench piece at this moment.

Sep 9th · 12:33 AM
Marquez Callaway Best Left On Bench In Week 1

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway is better left on the bench in Week 1's clash against the Packers. Callaway enters 2021 as a top receiving option for new QB Jameis Winston. The two displayed great chemistry in the second week of the preseason when Callaway posted five receptions for 104 yards and two scores. Nevertheless, the 23-year-old is still unproven when it comes to fantasy and the regular season and will need to display consistency to show fantasy managers he can be trusted. As a rookie last year, the Tennessee product only managed 21 receptions for 213 yards on 27 targets in 11 games. The Packers allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points to WRs last season, further making Callaway a weak fantasy option for this week.

Aug 24th · 03:33 AM
Marquez Callaway Hauls In 104 Yards

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway erupted for five receptions for 104 yards and two scores on five targets in Monday's win over the Jaguars. With the Saints lacking proven pass-catchers, Callaway made a huge statement for more targets in the regular season by showing out on Monday. Currently, Callaway is competing with guys like Tre'Quan Smith and Deonte Harris for targets but can surpass them on the depth chart during the season if he plays well. The injury to TE Adam Trautman (leg) in Monday's game could mean another pass-catcher down and even more targets open. Callaway is certainly in the flex tier right now due to a potentially big role coming up in this offense.

Are NFL Trade Rumor Covered in the Player News?
Yes! As you can see from this Julio Jones write up from his player page, we updated his news section as soon as the news broke.
“The Atlanta Falcons are not expected to trade quarterback Matt Ryan this offseason, according to sources. “The Falcons have not had any trade conversations about Ryan or their star wide receiver Julio Jones. And every expectation is both players are going to be on the roster in 2021,” NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said. New head coach Arthur Smith plans to run a similar offense to the one Kyle Shanahan used when Ryan won MVP in 2016. Atlanta would be on the hook for more than $44 million in dead money in 2021 if they traded Ryan before June 1. Atlanta may decide to take Ryan’s heir-apparent at No. 4 overall in the draft, but the 35-year-old signal-caller is expected to stay put for at least another season. Ryan and Jones got it going to end the regular season and could be in line for bounce-back campaigns under Smith in 2021. Consider Ryan a midrange QB1 heading into next season.”
