Myles Gaskin Struggles On The Ground

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin had a hard time finding room to run during the Week 13 matchup with the New York Giants. He rushed 15 times for 44 yards and added two receptions for five yards through the air in the win. Gaskin has failed to surpass 50 rushing yards in five of his last six games. However, he is normally able to salvage his fantasy value through the receiving game. He'll be a low-end RB2 in PPR formats coming out of the Week 14 bye week.

Myles Gaskin - Week 13 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin has experienced a tough time finding room to run this season. In fact, has only totaled over 50 rushing yards once over his last five games. Despite that, Gaskin has been able to save his fantasy value with touchdowns and making plays as a receiver. The good news is, Gaskin should be able to find more open lanes against the New York Giants in Week 13. A defense that ranks 31st in rush DVOA this season. Gaskin has seen a heavy workload lately and that's unlikely going to change this week. That being said, fantasy managers should feel confident with Gaskin as a RB2 against the Giants horrendous run defense.

Myles Gaskin Scores Twice In Win Over Panthers

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin continues to be the workhorse back for this offense. In Week 12, Gaskin rushed 16 times for 49 yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Carolina Panthers. He didn't do much in the receiving game, but Gaskin wasn't asked to because of the fact it was a blowout. Gaskin has seen double digit carries in six straight games. That streak is likely going to continue against the New York Giants next week. Fantasy managers should consider Gaskin a solid RB2 for that matchup.

Myles Gaskin - Week 12 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin has been held to 60 rushing yards or less in every game but three this season. However, Gaskin is coming off a season-high 89 yards in Week 11. He also saw a season-high 23 carries in that performance. Now he'll head into a fairly favorable matchup against the Carolina Panthers in Week 12, a defense that ranks 19th in rush DVOA this season. The absence of Malcolm Brown (quadriceps) has increased Gaskin's involvement in the offense. Fantasy managers should be able to count on Gaskin as an RB2 for this week.

Myles Gaskins Sees Heavy Workload Against Jets

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin has seen an increased workload since Malcolm Brown (quad) went down. In Week 11, Gaskin rushed 23 times for 89 yard in the win over the New York Jets. He also hauled in three receptions for nine yards and one touchdown in this contest. Those 23 carries were a season-high for Gaskin, but 3.9 yards per attempt isn't exactly a favorable result. Regardless, Gaskin is an important part of the offensive scheme and it should remain that way until Brown returns. Gaskin will be in the RB2 mix for the Week 12 matchup with the Carolina Panthers.

Nov 19th · 05:11 PM
Myles Gaskin - Week 11 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin has seen an increased workload over the last month or so. In fact, Gaskin has carried the ball 12 or more times in each of the last four games. Sadly, the Dolphins offensive line is horrendous and there hasn't been much room to run for Gaskin. During that span, Gaskin has surpassed 40 rushing yards in only one of those four contests. Luckily for him, he'll get a favorable matchup against the New York Jets in Week 11. A defense that ranks 31st in rush DVOA this season. They've also allowed the most fantasy points to running backs up to this point. Fantasy managers should consider Gaskin a fine RB2 in PPR formats for this plus matchup.

Myles Gaskin Continues Struggling On The Ground

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin has seen an uptick in carries over the last four games. However, he has not been able to find much success on the ground this season. In Week 10, Gaskin rushed 14 times for 31 yards and had one reception for 14 yards in the win over the Baltimore Ravens. It has been a rough stretch for Gaskin who has totaled 101 yards over his last three games. That is a horrendous 2.2 yards per carry, but the Dolphins don't have any better options right now. Which means, Gaskin should remain the lead back for the Week 11 matchup with the New York Jets. Normally, a solid spot for Gaskin, but he isn't anything more than a risky flex option in PPR formats right now.

Nov 10th · 10:43 PM
Myles Gaskin - Week 10 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin saw a season-high 20 carries last week against the Houston Texans. Sadly, Gaskin only rushed for 34 yards, but salvaged his fantasy value with six receptions. Fantasy managers have been dealt a tough hand when it comes to Gaskin. He seems to be a boom-or-bust option right now, but it's nearly impossible to tell when he's going to be involved. Luckily, Gaskin has seen 12 or more carries in each of the last three games. That trend should continue against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10. A defense that is above average when it comes to stopping the run. Fantasy managers should consider Gaskin a low-end RB2 because of his receiving ability.

Myles Gaskin Gets 20 Carries In Week 9

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin saw a significant workload during the Week 9 matchup against the Houston Texans. Over the last few weeks, Gaskin has seen an uptick in carries due to Malcolm Brown (quad) being sidelined. However, he carried the ball a season-high 20 times for 34 yards and one touchdown in the win over the Houston Texans. Gaskin also added six receptions for 23 yards, so PPR fantasy managers will certainly take this performance. Gaskin has struggled to find room to run this season, but continues to have fantasy value because of his receiving ability. Fantasy managers should be able to count on Gaskin as a low-end RB2 for the Week 10 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

Nov 5th · 04:34 PM
Myles Gaskin - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin has seen double-digit carries in each of the last two weeks. The Dolphins young back has seen an increased workload on the ground due to Malcolm Brown (quadriceps) being on Injured Reserve. Gaskin should continue getting plenty of carries against the Houston Texans in Week 9 against a defense that ranks 31st in rush DVOA this season. The touches should be there for Gaskin and he'll likely remain involved in the passing attack as well. Fantasy managers should consider him an RB2 in PPR formats for this excellent Week 9 matchup.

Nov 1st · 12:34 AM
Myles Gaskin Gets 12 Carries Against Bills

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin received plenty of touches against the Buffalo Bills in their Week 8 matchup. The Dolphins are without Malcolm Brown (quad) which means more carries for Gaskin. Sadly, he wasn't able to do much with them during their loss to Buffalo. Gaskin rushed 12 times for 36 yards and hauled in three receptions for 19 yards. This was the second week in a row that Gaskin has carried the ball 12 times or more. None of the running backs on this roster have been able to find much success this season. Gaskin will have a favorable matchup against the Houston Texans next week. He'll be a low-end RB2 in PPR formats for that matchup.

Oct 28th · 08:54 PM
Myles Gaskin - Week 8 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin has seen an inconsistent usage this season. He was excellent for the Dolphins last season, but hasn't been able to have the same success. Last week, Malcolm Brown (quad) received the start, but exited after five snaps. He has now been placed on the IR, which means Gaskin is the clear No. 1 option heading into the Week 8 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. This season, the Bills have allowed the second-fewest amount of fantasy points to opposing backs. The Dolphins are likely going to be playing from behind for most of this game, which means less rushing attempts. Fantasy managers need to hope that Gaskin gets involved in the passing game, otherwise he could be in line for another dud. He should be viewed as a low-end flex option in most formats coming into this game.

Oct 25th · 05:33 PM
Myles Gaskin Gets 15 Carries

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin saw an increased workload on the ground for the Week 7 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. Technically, Malcolm Brown (quad) received the start, but exited the game and didn't return. His absence pushed Gaskin into a larger role during Sunday's loss. Gaskin rushed 15 times for 67 yards and hauled in four receptions for 10 yards and a touchdown. The 15 carries was a season high for Gaskin, but that was likely because Brown was forced out of the game. Fantasy managers shouldn't consider Gaskin a reliable option, but he'll have flex appeal against the Bills next week.

Oct 23rd · 05:12 PM
Myles Gaskin - Week 7 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin has been inconsistent throughout the first six games of the season. Although, things could be looking up with a plus matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. A defense that ranks 24th in rush DVOA this season. Despite that, Gaskin hasn't seen more than five carries per game since Week 3. The Dolphins enjoy using Gaskin in the receiving game, but his value remains inconsistent. The upside is there, but he cannot be trusted more than a flex option in PPR formats for this matchup.

Oct 17th · 08:43 PM
Myles Gaskin Posts Dud In Week 6

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin put together an epic 10-catch game in Week 5, but failed to follow it up. In Week 6, Gaskin rushed five times for nine yards with two receptions for five yards in the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Dolphins couldn't get anything going on the ground. It has been that way all season and it's unlikely going to change anytime soon. Gaskin is only valuable because of his receiving ability in the backfield. Possibly, the return of Tua Tagovailoa is going to hinder Gaskin's value somewhat. Fantasy managers should put Gaskin in the flex conversation for the Week 7 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. It's tough to trust any back in this offense on a weekly basis.

Oct 15th · 03:57 PM
Myles Gaskin - Week 6 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin put together his best performance of the season in Week 5. He rushed five times for 25 yards, but a majority of his damage came through the air. Gaskin hauled in 10 receptions for 74 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He remains the lead back in Miami and it should stay that way. Gaskin heads into a matchup against a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that is middle of the road when it comes to stopping backs. Gaskin won't have the same type of success that he did last week, but should be a fine flex option for Week 6.

Oct 11th · 01:53 AM
Myles Gaskin Posts 10 Receptions In Loss

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin saw only two carries in Week 4, but was the focal point of the offense a week later. In Week 5, Gaskin carried the ball five times for 25 yards on the ground in the loss. However, he also hauled in all 10 of his targets against a shaky Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary. Those 10 receptions led to 74 yards and two touchdowns through the air. Gaskin was the safety net for quarterback Jacoby Brissett in this one. He should remain heavily involved in the gameplan during the matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars next week.

Oct 10th · 03:14 AM
Myles Gaskin - Week 5 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin won't have an easy assignment against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5. Gaskin is expected to have trouble moving the ball against this defense that ranks fourth in rush DVOA this season. Last week, Gaskin saw two carries on the ground, so hopefully he gets more involved in this game. Regardless, fantasy managers should try and stay far away from Gaskin right now. His value has seemingly taken a dip with Jacoby Brissett under center.

Oct 4th · 12:55 AM
Myles Gaskin Looks Invisible Against Colts

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin saw a season-high 13 carries in Week 3, but was barely on the field a week later. Gaskin saw two carries for three yards in the loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 4. It was odd to see Malcolm Brown and Salvon Ahmed get more chances on the ground than Gaskin. The upside is certainly there for Gaskin because of his ability in the receiving game. However, he'll be an avoidable option against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers strong rush defense next week.

Oct 1st · 06:06 PM
Myles Gaskin Has Low-End RB2 Value

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin saw a season-high 13 touches last week. He also rushed for a season-high 65 yards in the Week 3 loss. He should be able to have success once again versus the Indianapolis Colts this week. A defense that has been middle of the road at stopping running backs. The fact Gaskin is useful in both the passing and running game gives him significant fantasy value. Fantasy managers should be comfortable with Gaskin as a low-end RB2 for this matchup.

Sep 27th · 04:06 AM
Myles Gaskin Gets 13 Carries In Week 3

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin saw a significant increase in touches on the ground during the Week 3 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders. Coming into this game, Gaskin had 14 touches on the ground through two games. However, Gaskin rushed 13 times for 65 yards and caught three receptions for nine yards in the Week 3 loss. It was surprising to see Gaskin involved this much on the ground. Fantasy managers with Gaskin are certainly happy about it. He'll be on the RB3 radar in a favorable matchup against the Colts next week.

Sep 23rd · 04:15 PM
Myles Gaskin A Risky Flex Play

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin has been a fine flex option in PPR formats through two weeks. However, things could get more difficult for him against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3. Last season, the Raiders allowed the third-most rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs. However, the Dolphins will be operating with backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett under center. Also, Gaskin only saw nine touches last week and it's uncertain what his role is going to be with Brissett starting. Gaskin should be involved, but he's a risky flex option for Week 3.

Sep 20th · 01:31 AM
Myles Gaskin Remains Involved In Week 2

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin has found a way to continue carving out a role despite being stuck in a three-back committee. In Week 2, Gaskin rushed five times for 25 yards, while hauling in four of his five targets for 21 yards through the air. Sadly, the Dolphins were blown out by the Buffalo Bills, so they were forced to pass heavy in the second half. The loss of Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) could be significant for Gaskin's fantasy value. He'd be a risky flex option versus the Las Vegas Raiders, assuming Jacoby Brissett is behind center.

Sep 17th · 05:32 PM
Myles Gaskin A Trustworthy Flex Option

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin saw plenty of action during the season opener. He rushed nine times for 49 yards and hauled in five receptions for 27 yards through the air. He'll get a matchup against the Buffalo Bills defense that had trouble keeping running backs out of the end zone last season. It sounds like Gaskin is stuck in a running back committee, but is clearly the best option. He should be involved in both the running and passing game in Week 2. Fantasy managers should consider Gaskin a reliable flex option in PPR formats.

Sep 13th · 03:02 AM
Myles Gaskin Heavily Involved In Week 1 Victory

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin was the clear lead back during the Week 1 matchup against the New England Patriots. He rushed nine times for 49 yards and hauled in five receptions for 27 yards in the victory. The Dolphins made sure to get the dual-threat back involved in this tough matchup. Fantasy managers in PPR formats are certainly happy with what they received in Week 1. It won't get any easier against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2. Despite a tough matchup, Gaskin should be a fine flex option in PPR formats going forward.

Are NFL Trade Rumor Covered in the Player News?
Yes! As you can see from this Julio Jones write up from his player page, we updated his news section as soon as the news broke.
“The Atlanta Falcons are not expected to trade quarterback Matt Ryan this offseason, according to sources. “The Falcons have not had any trade conversations about Ryan or their star wide receiver Julio Jones. And every expectation is both players are going to be on the roster in 2021,” NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said. New head coach Arthur Smith plans to run a similar offense to the one Kyle Shanahan used when Ryan won MVP in 2016. Atlanta would be on the hook for more than $44 million in dead money in 2021 if they traded Ryan before June 1. Atlanta may decide to take Ryan’s heir-apparent at No. 4 overall in the draft, but the 35-year-old signal-caller is expected to stay put for at least another season. Ryan and Jones got it going to end the regular season and could be in line for bounce-back campaigns under Smith in 2021. Consider Ryan a midrange QB1 heading into next season.”
