The main slate is a short one with three matches on DraftKings and four on FanDuel. The heavy favorite is Arsenal at -161 (BetMGM), who welcome the visiting Brighton side. Arsenal is in a must win spot as their hopes of a top four finish hang on coming away with all three points. The two other matches have even odds, with Chelsea likely to start the match under the -110 (BetMGM) current odds. Chelsea take Southampton on the road and could look to rest some starters who need all hands on deck to find two plus goals in the second leg of their Champions League clash mid-week on the road. The leverage spot of interest comes with Leeds United going on the road against Watford.

EPL DFS Picks Today: DraftKings & FanDuel Fantasy Soccer

Forwards/Midfielders

Jack Harrison (DraftKings: $7,400, FanDuel $14)

Raphinha (DraftKings: $8,300, FanDuel $18)

Leeds United go on the road against Watford. Watford are trying to stay out of relegation and Leeds are not clear of the drop zone just yet. Both teams will look to come away with three points in a match each will feel they can win. An early goal could open the flood gates in this one and over 2.5 at -137 (BetMGM) is very much in play on the betting market. Leeds has yet to figure out defense and concedes 2.22 expected goals on the road, ranking second worst in the EPL. Watford is terrible at home with 1.93 expected goals per match, sitting dead last in the EPL. The attacks from both sides of this fixture are in play on three game slate for DraftKings. Given the Tottenham plays on FanDuel, Leeds is the attacking side of choice with a slightly better offensive mark of 1.18 expected road goals compared to Watford’s 0.96 expected home goals per match.

Jack Harrison still has a reasonable price, with set shares on his side of the pitch firmly in play to add to the floor. His open-play volume and over two shots per match under the Jessie Marsh regime should get a bump up against the Watford defense. Harrison would need a goal contribution to hit value but comes in discounted from Raphinha. Raphinha controls sets on his half and direct set shares. Watford commits 14.6 fouls per match, which tie Leeds atop the EPL. The floor is therefore bumped for both Harrison and Raphinha. Raphinha leads the club in scoring and contributes on 34% of goals. His shot volume of 2.77 is more than any teammate, but the 23% on-target accuracy is a bit concerning for FanDuel. On DraftKings the volume is there, and the 1.65 drawn fouls per match would solidify a core play consideration. Harrison sports a 43% on-target rate and is just beneath Raphinha in goals. His discount on FanDuel of $4 makes him the preferred option.

Watford will not go quietly into the night, and Emmanuel Dennis will look to answer the expected back-and-forth affair. He leads Watford in scoring and contributes on 48% of their goals. If Watford is able to break through the Leeds back line, Dennis would be a wise bet to have involvement in that. He is a GPP play at $6,000 and an average 2.22 shots per match with 44% on-target accuracy.

James Ward-Prowse (DraftKings: $9,600, FanDuel $17)

Hakim Ziyech (DraftKings: $9,000, FanDuel $18)

Arsenal is the cash choice for DraftKings, and Tottenham would take the play for FanDuel. The options for those clubs are below. The match up with choices at the top of the salary range is Southampton taking on Chelsea. Southampton is tough at home with an expected goals of 1.01 per match. Chelsea are tough everywhere, except against Madrid, sporting an expected goals on the road of 0.88. Chelsea has the offensive advantage, and Hakim Ziyech would look to see the starting 11. He averages 3.42 shots per match and 6.75 crosses. The crossing volume is skewed heavily to open play, and Ziyech draws 2.74 fouls per match. Ziyech is a core play in all formats and sites. His price on DraftKings should really be over $10,000 and his on-target accuracy of 37.5% with the volume of shots makes him a one-off option in FanDuel to mix with Arsenal and Tottenham stacks.

Southampton has James Ward-Prowse. With another match on the slate, Ward-Prowse is too expensive considering the lack of goals Chelsea allows. He has a floor with crossing volume of 8.23 per match and the defensive metrics of 3.36 won tackles/interceptions. He leads the club in scoring and goal contribution, but this is not the spot for him to see that upside unless Chelsea rest a number of key members. Ward-Prowse is a GPP play if the defense of Chelsea sees this game.

Other Options: Son Heung-Min (FanDuel $20), Harry Kane (FanDuel $19), Bukayo Saka (DraftKings: $9,900, FanDuel $19), Emile Smith-Rowe (DraftKings: $8,000, FanDuel $18). Kai Havertz (DraftKings: $7,900, FanDuel $17)

Defenders

Hassane Kamara (DraftKings: $4,000, FanDuel $13)

The defender spot offers little for paying up on this slate, but Hassane Kamara stands out. He offers salary relief and can perform on both ends of the pitch. His open-play crossing on attack mixed with drawn foul rate should see an uptick given the fouling troubles of both clubs in this match up. The upside comes in his defensive activity of 9.24 won tackles/interceptions per match. The floor is set for the Watford wingback and the price should find 1.5-2x value easy to manage.
