Ajax (-250) vs. Sporting (+575), O/U 3.5

Luka Jovic (DraftKings: $3,500, FanDuel: $15)

Eduardo Camavinga (DraftKings: $3,400, FanDuel: $9)

Real Madrid plays host to Inter Milan. The matchup is for sole possession of first place in the group. Madrid is missing a key piece in Karim Benzema. This opens up clear value up front with Luka Jovic. Jovic has had limited minutes since arriving two seasons ago to Madrid. He was a prolific scorer at his time with Eintracht Frankfurt, recording 29 goals in just 42 starts. He saw time off the bench in that time and did well to mix in goal contributions by way of assists. He averages over 2.6 shots per match in his stretch between the Bundesliga and La Liga, with an on-target accuracy clip of north of 26%. On FanDuel his salary is a little tougher to get to with a lack of floor due to his volume not finding target at a floor building pace. On DraftKings he is a play in all formats regardless of the high ownership he will garner. The matchup against Inter is concerning, considering the club’s average goals allowed of under 0.7 on the road. Madrid has the talent to push the offensive pace even without Benzema. Jovic is mispriced for his goal contribution upside.

The support around Jovic is mixed between Marco Asensio, Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior. All three are priced high for the lack of floor they provide. They would filter into a mix of GPP plays in Madrid stacks. The midfield could see another limited role player in Eduardo Camavinga. Camavinga comes in near minimum price on DraftKings. He is not productive on the offensive side of the ball, and the presence of Jovic is enough salary relief. On FanDuel Camavinga would grade as solid value with his average above 2.53 scoring chances created and 5.15 won tackles/interceptions from his time on Rennes. The set shares would still belong to Toni Kroos, making him a floor play to add to stacks of the home side.

Sebastien Haller (DraftKings: $10,300, FanDuel: $22)

Pedro Goncalves (DraftKings: $9,000, FanDuel: $19)

Ajax thrashed Sporting CP in Portugal in their previous meeting by the score of 5-1. This matchup has the making of the highest-scoring outing on the six-game slate. Ajax have just one loss this year and scored four-plus goals in nine of 20 matches. Sporting CP proved they cannot stop Ajax and will have to fight fire with fire. Sporting CP has one of their star players available this time around in Pedro Goncalves. He handles the set shares and penalty sets for his club, and he has 23 goals in 32 starts and 2.62 shots per match. Goncalves helped Sporting get to second in the group standings with a brace performance against Dortmund and Besiktas. His salary is high on both sites, but his upside can easily pay it off.

Sebastien Haller is the goal hunter. He comes in as the second-highest-priced forward on both sites. The man above him is Erling Haaland. Haaland has questions to how long he will play the match but can score in a hurry and has the better matchup. Haller averages 3.86 shots per match and hits target at a 42.9% accuracy clip. He has scored in every outing for Ajax during the Champions League, including four against this very opponent. With Jovic it is possible to roster both Haaland and Haller and go for full brace upside in GPPs. The pieces around both clubs for game stacking start with Dusan Tadic. He handles the set shares for Ajax and contributes on 34.7% of the club’s scoring. On FanDuel Rachid Ghezzal offers a discount from Tadic at $14, with set shares and penalty sets.

Brahim Diaz (DraftKings: $5,700, FanDuel: $16)

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (DraftKings: $7,900, FanDuel: $18)

AC Milan controls their own fate against the explosive offense of Liverpool. Liverpool might look to rest some of their starters as they have control of the group. Milan will need to secure a victory at home. The last meeting between these clubs saw five total goals. Zlatan Ibrahimovic leads the club in goals despite missing a number of matches with injury. He averages 4.83 shots per match with 34% on-target accuracy. He is a goal-hunting option in GPPs with the lack of floor taking him out of cash consideration. The question marks to Rafael Leao opens up some options for the home side.

Brahim Diaz could handle shares of the indirect sets and produces 2.13 shots per match and 3.60 scoring chances created. He would look to split the shares with Ismael Bennacer. Bennacer offers value at a price of $4,400 and $9 across the sites. He builds his floor on 3.43 drawn fouls per match and 4.43 won tackles/interceptions. He is not as productive on the offense due to limited shot attempts, but he creates 3.43 scoring chances per match. Should Leao start the match he is in play above the two.

Other Options: Mohamed Salah (DraftKings $10,000, FanDuel $21), Antony (DraftKings $9,700, FanDuel $19), Marco Reus (DraftKings $9,300, FanDuel $18), Fernando (DraftKings $6,400, FanDuel $19), Mehdi Taremi (DraftKings $6,200, FanDuel $16). Pablo Sarabia (DraftKings $7,100, FanDuel $17)

Konstantinos Tsimikas (DraftKings: $6,500, FanDuel: $12)

Konstantinos Tsimikas would look to handles the set shares without the stars of Liverpool in the starting lineup. In his time splitting with them he still produced 9.01 crosses per match via even split of open play and sets. That number would see a significant uptick, making his floor still a 2x value. His upside comes from two shots and 3.72 scoring chances created per match.

Other Options: Nicolas Tagliafico (DraftKings $5,800, FanDuel $14), Dodo (DraftKings $4,900, FanDuel $10), Cristiano (DraftKings $3,300, FanDuel $13). Renan Lodi (DraftKings $3,700, FanDuel $8)

Anatoli Trubin (DraftKings: $5,600, FanDuel: $13)

Diogo Costa (DraftKings: $4,700, FanDuel: $10)
