UCL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Fantasy Soccer Lineups

**All Odds from BetMGM**

Lille (+333) vs. Chelsea (-110), over/under 2.5

Juventus (+105) vs. Villarreal (+300), over/under 2.5

Forwards/ Midfielders

Dusan Vlahovic (DraftKings: $8,600, FanDuel $20)

Daniel Parejo (DraftKings: $7,700, FanDuel $14)

Juventus will host Villarreal after a 1-1 draw in their first outing. Juventus sports the second-best defense in Serie A, with 0.96 expected goals allowed per match. They have kept the opposition to one goal or fewer in nine of their last 10 matches. Villarreal has matched the defensive efficiency with a similar mark and posted two more clean sheets in the same stretch. Villarreal is a missing key member of the attack in Gerard Moreno, who accounts for 21% of the club’s scoring, and is tied for the team scoring lead. Juventus will be without the services of Paulo Dybala.

Dusan Vlahovic will look to pull Juventus ahead. He averages 3.2 shots per match in his short run since joining the club and posts 62% on-target accuracy. The price is steep, and Vlahovic will need to score to pay it off. The shot volume will not be enough despite the on-target accuracy providing the scoring upside. He is a GPP play on both sites. The set-piece taker for Juventus is Juan Cuadrado. He averages 5.16 crosses and creates 3.53 scoring chances per match. Cuadrado is a core play with a floor and added value in 1.96 drawn fouls with 1.36 shots per match. Alvaro Morata rounds out the attack with an average 2.27 shots per match that will see an uptick without the presence of Dybala. He contributes on 22.7% of Juventus’ scoring.

Villarreal has a Mr. Do It All in Daniel Parejo, who handles set shares and penalties. Parejo averages 5.99 crosses and creates 3.93 scoring chances per match. He adds value defensively, ranking fourth on the team in won tackles/interceptions with 2.63. His team-leading 2.41 drawn fouls help to multiply his value with set deliveries. He is not known for strikes at the net, but the floor and price still make him a core play with a floor starting point of 1-1.25x value. The attack and scoring for GPP falls to Arnuat Danjuma. He averages 3.68 shots per match at an on-target rate of 38%. Danjuma leads Villarreal in scoring but comes with a high price for the lack of floor. He is a GPP option and a contrarian play to the high ownership Vlahovic and the Chelsea attack will garner.

Kai Havertz (DraftKings: $7,400, FanDuel $17)

Mason Mount (DraftKings: $8,400, FanDuel $20)

It is no surprise to see Chelsea as top plays. They took care of Lille in their first outing with a 2-0 victory. Lille will look to press up in search of multiple goals. The speed and skill of Chelsea can do damage on the counterattacks. Mason Mount offers a floor with set shares and upside with the most goals on the club and a scoring contribution rate of 26.7%. He averages 2.59 shots per match and hits target at a 43.8% accuracy clip. Kai Havertz has been heating up in the scoring department. He has climbed to second on the list, tied with Jorginho, who handles the penalties. Havertz seems to be the only forward to consistently hit the target, with 43.2% on his 2.55 shots per match. He is a goal-hunting option and will garner the ownership, making him hard to ignore in cash games.

The concern with Chelsea is how long the starting pieces go in this match. Should they head into half with a lead or draw, a rotation might start to cut out high-priced players early. The bench is stacked, and a sub would still provide Thomas Tuchel with the talent to see the results he came for. Chelsea does not run over teams, and Lille is a tough defense regardless of whether or not they abandon it for a push offensively. Mount and Havertz are priorities if they start the match. Mixes with Romelu Lukaku and the defenders on the wing would round off the attack.

Other Options: Johnathan Bamba (DraftKings: $6,000, FanDuel $13), Johnathan David (DraftKings: $5,900, FanDuel $17)

Defenders

Alfonso Pedraza (DraftKings: $5,000, FanDuel $8)

Juventus and Villarreal are in for a tight finish. Alfonso Pedraza does well on the wingback role with crossing volume. He averages 1.24 shots per match and leads the club in cross with 5.21 via open play. His metrics are boosted with his defense of 5.12 won tackles/interceptions per match. He is a core play and a solid pairing with any Chelsea wingback that sees the starting 11. The preference from the Chelsea wingbacks would be Reece James, regardless of the massive ownership attached to the talent.

Goalkeepers

Geronimo Rulli (DraftKings: $4,400, FanDuel $9)
