Top Week 12 NFL DFS Stacks for DraftKings + FanDuel Based on Awesemo’s Premium Top Stacks Tool

Week 12 delivers a 10-game slate for DFS players to attack. To gain leverage in GPPs, stacking is a strategy that every DFS player should use. Rostering a quarterback with one or more of his pass catchers gives lineups the upside it needs to have a chance at finishing near the top of the leaderboards. The NFL DFS advice below will evaluate how to utilize NFL DFS stacks for Week 10 DraftKings and FanDuel lineups by finding the top the stacking options from Awesemo’s Top Stacks Tool. The Top Stacks Tool will break down the stack in terms of its overall projection of being the No. 1 stack of the week, the ownership of the quarterback, if it is a value or not and the overall leverage on the rest of the field.

Top NFL DFS Stacks for Week 12 on DraftKings + FanDuel

Top Stack: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers head to Indianapolis this Sunday and are rating as the best offense to stack for Week 12. This matchup’s total is the highest on the slate (52.5 points) and Tampa Bay’s implied team total is also the largest on the board (27.25 points). With Tom Brady playing at an MVP level this season, the Buccaneers have been one of the most pass heavy offenses in football, ranking second to last in game script adjusted rush rate, per Awesemo’s Advanced Stats. Brady is averaging 7.5 yards per attempt and leads the league with 29 passing touchdowns. No defense in the NFL has given up more touchdowns through the air than the Colts this season (25) and they are also allowing the ninth highest yards per attempt (7.1). Since joining the Buccaneers, Brady is averaging 24 DraftKings points per game in totals over 50 points, and he should pick this soft Colts’ secondary apart for multiple touchdowns and over 300 yards.

With Antonio Brown (ankle) trending towards being inactive again, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin will continue to handle large roles. In the five games Brown has missed this season, Evans and Godwin have both seen an 18% target share. Evans has seen seven red-zone targets and seven targets over 20 yards, while Godwin has obtained six red-zone targets and three targets greater than 20 yards. Both are elite options and double stacking the pair with Brady is totally viable, but if forced to choose one, Evans is the best for GPPs. He has scored an absurd six touchdowns in his last four games and could explode against this Colts’ defense that has surrendered a league-high 17 touchdowns to receivers.

In his return last week, Rob Gronkowski caught six of his eight targets for 71 yards, while running a route on 60% of Brady’s dropbacks. This season Gronkowski has been targeted on a very encouraging 25% of his routes, including seven red-zone targets. On top of being shredded by receivers, this Colts’ defense has also struggled to defend tight ends, giving up the second most catches (66), third most yards (691) and third-most touchdowns to the position (six). Specifically at only $4,400 on DraftKings, Gronkowski is way underpriced for his upside in this smash spot.

Top Stack: Los Angeles Rams

Fresh off their bye, the Rams rank right behind the Buccaneers for the top stack of Week 12. Facing the Packers at Lambeau Field, Los Angeles carries a 24.25-point implied team total and this contest’s total ranks fourth on the slate (47 points). Ranking dead last in game script adjusted rush percentage, the Rams are the most pass heavy offense in the NFL. This season, Matthew Stafford ranks third in yards per attempt (8.3) and third in passing touchdowns (24), with only eight interceptions. The Packers are giving up the fifth lowest yards per attempt (6.1), but they just got torched by Kirk Cousins for 385 yards and four touchdowns last week. Stafford has provided over 25 DraftKings points in half his starts this season, and his props on BetMGM are very encouraging at 2.5 touchdowns and 276.5 yards.

As always, the undisputed top option to pair with Stafford is fantasy’s No.1 receiver, Cooper Kupp. He ranks third in target share (31.9%), first in red-zone targets (23), second in receiving touchdowns (10) and second in DraftKings points per snap among receivers (0.47). Kupp has seen double-digit targets in nine of 10 games this season and has recorded double-digit catches in three of his past four. Regardless of position, Kupp possesses the highest projection on the slate for DraftKings this weekend. With Robert Woods (knee) done for the season, Van Jefferson is locked in as the Rams’ No. 2 receiver. Jefferson garnered seven targets, including one target over 20 yards and three in the red zone, running a route on 97% of Stafford’s dropbacks with Woods out last game. Jefferson ranks eighth in the league in yards per reception (16.2) and is far too cheap on both sites for his role in this high-powered offense. Lastly, Tyler Higbee is also underpriced for life without Woods. The tight end ran a route on 97% of Stafford’s dropbacks with Woods sidelined and hauled in three of his five targets for 20 yards. Higbee ranks fifth in the NFL in red-zone targets this season (14) and is a top-five tight end value for both DraftKings and FanDuel.

With the Rams coming off their worst output of the season, this is an excellent time to invest in this offense as a stack, possibly at low ownership.

Value Stack: San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers are a compelling value stack to consider in this projected shootout against the Vikings. Vegas has this tilt listed with the second highest total on the slate (49 points) and San Francisco’s implied team total is also the second largest on the board (26.25 points). Plus, the 49ers are only 3.5-point favorites. Very quietly, Jimmy Garoppolo has been very efficient this season. He is third in yards per attempt (8.3), and this is a plus spot, with the Vikings yielding the ninth highest yards per attempt (7.1) and fifth most passing touchdowns (13). Garoppolo has surpassed 300 yards in two of his past four starts and is very reasonably priced on both sites.

Deebo Samuel has been a stud this season and is the obvious top choice to stack with Garoppolo. Samuel ranks fifth in target share (30.5%), first in yards after the catch (525), fifth in yards per reception (18.1) and leads the 49ers with 10 targets greater than 20 yards. Among all skill players, the receiver ranks fourth in DraftKings points per game (22.8) and Samuel should have a field day against this Vikings’ defense that is allowing the third most yards (1,950) and sixth most touchdowns to the wide receiver position (13). Next is George Kittle. Since returning from a three-game absence, the tight end has scored in three consecutive games. This season, Kittle has seen terrific usage, with a target on 24% of his routes. While the Vikings have been tough on tight ends this season, yielding the third fewest receptions to the position (35), Kittle has to be considered in this high scoring environment.

Finally, Brandon Aiyuk’s target share ranks third on the team (14.5%), including six red-zone targets and an 80% route rate. Aiyuk has really come alive as of late, with 15.6 DraftKings points per game across his last three and is expected to be very low owned.
